Q. What are the advantages of the The BumperGuard Product over its' competitors?

A. The BumperGuard product was developed over an extended period of time by a team of Industrial Designers and Engineers to achieve a perfect balance of weight, durability, and impact-resistant functionality.

The product incorporates a 2" thick dense foam pad, comparative to the 1/4" vinyl "floor mat" style used by competitors, to maximize the protection of your car's rear bumper.

The BumperGuard is rigid, and dimensionally stable, it does not sag, or droop when positioned on your car, like other competitors product. Best of all, the BumperGuard product is...Made in the USA!


Q. What level of protection can I expect of the The BumperGuard product?

A. The BumperGuard is designed to protect the rear bumper, and minimize the risk of scratches, or dings within the immediate area of coverage, in attended, and street parking conditions.

It has also been engineered to absorb direct linear impacts up to 4 MPH, during controlled testing, without damage to the rear bumper [Container Testing Lab report, Oct.'08].

The BumperGuard is not designed to be a structural barrier, and will not enhance occupant safety during rear end collisions.


Q. Where are the keys and sleeve posts?

A. There is a poly-bag located underneath the overwrap on the product that contains a set of keys and a pair of sleeve posts.


Q. Does the The BumperGuard fit all vehicles?

A. The BumperGuard was designed to fit most vehicles that have the license plate mounted to the trunk above the rear bumper.

For larger vehicles, such as SUVs and Crossovers, we recommend our SUV BumperGuard for a better fit. 

Our products are not currently usable on vehicles with the license plate in the lower bumper.

Q. Should the BumperGuard product be removed if I wash my car?

A. Yes.  We strongly recommend that you place your BumperGuard in the trunk of your car if you visit any type of Automatic Car Wash. 

The product is not designed to withstand the repetitive force and/or chemicals used in an Automatic Car Wash to clean your vehicle!

Doing so will void any guarantee associated with the product and will not be eligible for return or exchange.

If you must clean your BumperGuard, please use a damp towel or rag with warm water and non-abrasive soap.


Q. Can The BumperGuard product be left on while driving?

A. We recommend that your BumperGuard be stored in the trunk while your vehicle is in use when driving at high speeds (i.e. on highways/freeways).

Although the unit locks securely onto the license plate, there is a possibility it can become dislodged when the vehicle is in motion.

If  BumperGuard is used in any other fashion than described in our instructions and/or disclaimer, it becomes solely at the consumer's own risk.

Q. What is your return policy?

A. If not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product for a full refund (less shipping and handling), within 14 days of receipt of your shipment, subject to the following conditions:

  • Products cannot be returned after 14 calendar days. Deliveries will be refused.  No exceptions.
  • Product must be in re-salable condition, with original packaging and all component parts included which include: BumperGuard, Sleeve Posts (2), Keys (2), Overwrap, Packaging Filler (Please Note: Absence of Packaging Filler can result in damage of product in the return shipment.  Therefore, it is highly recommended that Consumer retain ALL original packaging during the 14 day return period).
  • Items that are returned within 14 calender days from delivery, are not in salable condition, or are damaged from use, will be charged a discretionary surcharge by TECH-Naissance, Inc.
  • We will only refund the shipping cost if the return is a result of our error (i.e. product malfunction or defect).
  • Custom Design Orders can not be returned or exchanged.
  • It is highly recommended that the Consumer email digital photos of the unit to be returned; this will insure that any potential damage caused in shipping does not fall on the Consumer and affect refund.  Photos may be emailed to: customerservice@bumperguard.org.
  • Returns will not be accepted and/or refunded without at least one of the following: Customer ID#, Order ID#, Transaction ID#.
  • Returns will not be accepted by Consumers having purchased at Retail Outlet (i.e. Dealership, Auto Parts Store, etc.) without written consent and confirmation from said Retailer.
  • Returns will not be accepted and/or refunded without prior notice of return by the Consumer.

Q. What can I expect to receive my BumperGuard and how is it shipped?

A. Your order will be processed the same or the following business day, depending on the time of your order.

  • Our standard shipping method is via UPS Ground.
  • Shipments will be processed in the order which they are received.
  • BumperGuard shipments are received within 1-5 Business Days from order processing.


Q. Why is The BumperGuard's logo so difficult to read on the product?

A. Although we believe in self-promotion, the BumperGuard's branding is discreetly stamped only on the handle, so the appearance of your car is not compromised.

We also offer 3 colors; Black, Silver Grey, and Charcoal Grey, to match your car's exterior color, and make our protection system less visible.

We do not believe our customers should be forced to advertise our product, but of course, encourage you to tell your friends about it!
